November 4th was truly a historic day. Barack Obama became the United States of America’s next President, and Michelle Obama became our next first lady. I am truly glad that Barack won, but I am also very happy that some great style is coming to the White House. We will now have four years to see Michelle Obama showing off her fabulous sense of style. Michelle wore a Narciso Rodriguez red and black dress, during her husband’s victorious night. It was fashionable and very chic choice. 

I love Michelle Obama’s style. I can’t say it enough, this women has great taste and fashion sense. I mainly love her because she knows she does not have to spend a $1,000 on a dress in order to look fashionable. Here is Michelle just the other day while campaigning in Detroit, wearing an H&M dress. I love that she added a wide black belt to the dress in oder to accentuate her waist.

Not only does a huge part of the fashion industry love and support Barack Obama, they also can’t get enough of his wife, Michelle. She has brought back sophistication and tasteful elegance to politics. Her choices are unique, classic, and chic. I love the dress she wore to end the DNC. Michelle wore a printed Thakoon Resort 2009 dress with three Erickson Beamon brooches. This is a relatively new designer, but Michelle sure didn’t seem to mind. She knows what looks good on her, and I just can’t wait to she what and who she wears next.

The Democratic National Convention began Monday, and already it is going down in history as one of the best conventions. The main headliner Monday night, was the fabulous Michelle Obama. She gave a powerful speech. As much as I am concentrating on this campaign and upcoming election, I also have to concentrate on the fashion. Michelle as usual looked lovely, and so Jackie-O. Her daughters, Sasha and Malia were styled so cute, and I loved the color all three wore. They no doubt will be the best dressed presidential family, to ever step foot in the White House.

Not only has this Presidential campaign been very exciting, it has also been very stylish. Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, have great style, and fashion sense. The media, and public have taken notice of this, and so have some well known designers. Fabulous designer Tracy Reese has created a t-shirt featuring a unique version of the Obama campaign logo. This shirt will retail for about $80. There is a plethora of other designers who will be designing more Obama merchandise, they include Derek Lam, Isaac Mizrahi, and Diane von Furstenberg. All this new designer merchandise will become available for purchase on Barack Obama’s website next month.

Both Michelle Obama and Fantasia will be gracing the covers of two different magazines. Michelle Obama will be on the September issue of Ebony, and Fantasia will be on the cover of September’s Sister 2 Sister. Of course Michelle looks amazing. Very polished, sophisticated, and chic. Fantasia is definitely one celeb with a track record of fashion mistakes, however I have to say she looks good on her cover. The dress is simple, yet flattering on her body. Which one do you think has the best cover style?

Last week Michelle Obama was named one of the best dressed woman in the world, by Vanity Fair Magazine. Quickly on the heels of that announcement, rumors began flying that Vogue editor at large, Andre Leon Talley would be styling Michelle Obama. Well that rumor is false, and Andre gave this statement:

“[L]et me go on record saying that I have never, ever given her any advice on what to wear. To put the record straight, I think that Michelle Obama does not need advice.”

According to Vanity Fair, Michelle Obama is the best dressed female in the world. The possible first lady is at the top of this years infamous list. I am so happy to see her in this position on the list, and I definitely think it is well deserved on her part. She is chic, elegant, stylish, and regal. Michelle Obama is fierce.
