The other night Jermaine Dupri celebrated his birthday, by throwing a large celebrity attended bash. Of course his girlfriend,  Janet was right there by his side. The couple looked cute and stylish together. Other guest included Julissa, pr guru BJ Coleman, and ANTM winner Jaslene Gonzalez.

Janet Jackson is the latest celebrity to release a line of clothing, in her case lingerie. Jackson’s designing the line with Australian lingerie designer Bruno Schiavi. According to WWD,  Jackson said she really wanted the satin and lace garments to be comfortable.

“I hate when you’ve had on a bra all day long and you just can’t wait to take it off — every woman has experienced that.” 

The line is called, Pleasure Principal, and expected to hit department stores this year or early next year.  Jackson and her design partner Schiavi, plan to expand beyond lingerie next year, so expect to see more lines in the future.

The duo is pictured here arriving at the Christian Lacroix Haute Couture show.  To me Jermaine’s outfit is better looking than Janet’s. I don’t think the skirt is very flattering on her, but I love her bag. On a side note, rumor has it that Janet may be getting ready to drop a fashion line.

Janet Jackson and her main man Jermain Dupri were front row and center for the Versace fashion show, held in Milan over the weekend. The couple looked chic and stylish. Janet’s shoes are fierce, and I love Jermain’s all white suit. My only gripe with the pair, is their sunglasses. As fly as they are, why would you wear sunglasses at a fashion show?

Yesterday was the Alexander McQueen launch in New York city. This was a very stylish event and there were many stars in attendance. Eve, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Joy Brant all looked very chic. Janet Jackson wore an ombre kimono style dress. I like the colors of the dress but overall the look is off. Also her breast appear to be in the shape of pointed cones, a la Madonna back in the day.

Yesterday was one of the most fabulous fashion events of the year, “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum. This was a star studded event, and the majority of those who attended looked elegant, sophisticated, and of course chic.

Still on the fence with this geometric print dress on Joy Bryant. It looks uncomfortable and very restrictive.

Kimora Lee Simmons looked very colorful in this dress. This silhouette looks great on her body. Djimon Hounsou looks very sharp.

Thandie Newton was working it in this short black lace mini. I like the look, however I think she should of worn something a little more formal to this event.

It was a star studded event last night at the Glaad Awards. Janet Jackson and Zoe Saldana were some of the celebs that attended the event. Janet wore Ralph Lauren, however I am not really feelin’ her outfit. I think the wide leg pants were too big on her, and I really don’t like when you can’t see the shoes someone is wearing. Zoe looked stylish in her all white dress. There were not fireworks with her look, but she was fashionable none the less.

I love Janet, and her new album is so hot but these pants are not. Yesterday Janet’s new album, Discipline debuted, and she attended an autograph signing in this outfit. Everything from the waist up is cute, but I don’t know what she was thinking with the pants. Hammer pants are never going to be in style again. Caution please don’t try and imitate this look on the street.
