Over the weekend Tyler Perry unveiled his new movie studio in Atlanta, GA. This was an amazing star studded event, with guest including Will Smith, John Legend, ANTM winner Eva, Nicole Ari Parker, and more. Tyler Perry made history, by becoming the first African-American ever to launch his own major TV and film studio. Congratulations Tyler. Your fabulous.

Over the weekend the HollyRod Foundation DesignCare Event took place in Malibu, California. Many celebrities were in attendance, and below are three lovely ladies, that looked very stylish. Which one do you think had the best style?

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon looked stunning in this turquoise dress. I am on the fence a bit when it comes to her shoes.

Holly Robinson-Peete’s dress looks ok in this ensemble. I am not sure what is up with her face expression, but she has a great shape.

Lela Rochon looked lovely in this purple dress. It has been awhile since she has been seen out and about. Her shoes are cute, however I think they would’ve looked better with a different outfit.

Yesterday was the Crystal Lucy Awrads, which were hosted by Aisha Tyler. Aisha looked fabulous in this dark gray dress, and her bright fuchia clutch adds a great pop of color to her look. Holly Robinson-Pette was also at the event. I love the color of her dress, however I wish she had chosen another color shoe to wear. The black shoe is to safe and boring. A nude or deep chocolate colored shoe would’ve looked better.

The annual Nickelodeon Kid Choice Awards were held over the weekend, and many celebrities attended the awards show. Below are some of the fashion choices these celebs made.

Rihanna looked cute, as usual. Her look was edgy yet sexy.

Chris Brown looked cute, and age appropriate for the event.

Holly Robinson-Peete and her family were all very stylish. They are one of the cutest families in Hollywood. The green dress Holly wore looked great on her.

Jordin Sparks once again wore an outfit that did not fit her body type well. This dress made her look wide. She needs to learn how to make her curves work for her when she dresses. This dress looks like sack. The color however, goes well with her complexion.

What is up with young Hollywood wearing party dress with sneakers. I am not feelin’ it, and this look has been done one too many times before. Lil Mama please be more original with your style.

Nia Long and her son looked so adorable. I love her dress. It is flirty yet sophisticated.  I really hope her new show, Big Shots, comes back to ABC.

Last night Ebony Magazine held their Oscar pre-party in Hollywood. For the most part all who attended the event were very stylish. Lisa Raye wore a cute bronze satin cocktail dress, that was very flirty. Her hair cut also added to the outfit, making her look stunning. Karrine Steffans was in attendance and looked chic, surprisingly. It is really hard to go wrong wearing all black. Holly Robinson-Peete always looks gorgeous, and she looks like she has not aged at all. Her dress seemed to be inspired from a 1920’s flapper outfit, I love it.
