Angela and Vanessa Simmons were among the many celebrities that have been attending shows during L.A. Fashion Week. I really like Vanessa’s outfit, and I love Angela’s black and gold platforms. On a side note the sisters will be getting their own spin-off reality show.
Ralph Lauren and Lebron James hosted a party the other night for all of Lebron’s family and friends. This was a very stylish event, and many celebs attended. Overall everyone looked fashionable. There were a few questionable outfit choices, mainly LaLa and her boo Carmelo Anthony. Jay-Z and Lebron looked very fly, and in my opinion the best dressed at this party.
Russell Simmons held a fashion show to debut his new argyle culture clothing line. There were many celebs in attendance. This definitely looked like a stylish event. Porschla Coleman looked stunning as always, and Angela Simmons wore cute dress with an even cuter accessory, Bow Wow.
There are so many “it” items when it comes to fashion. The past couple of weeks we have been seeing celebs wearing the plume feather vest from Elizabeth and James. Now the new “it” item comes in the form of a shoe. The Pierre Hardy Metallic Lace Up Platform Shoes are being seen on everyone lately, including Angela Simmons, Cassie, and Rihanna. These hot shoes are from the fall 2008 collection, and can be worn with some cute jeans, or a chic dress. The are cute and a bit expensive. They retail for about $1200.
The other night Giant Magazine threw a party to celebrate the new Phat Fashion collection, at the MAGIC convention in Las Vegas. Among the celebrity guest were sisters, Angela and Vanessa Simmons. Both girls look great in their dresses, but who do you think has the better style? In my opinion I like Vanessa’s style the best at this event. The black tiered dress she wore is sexy, classy, and looks fabulous on her.
Vanessa Simmons celebrated her birthday the other day. She looks cute in this outfit, and actually she is ahead of the trends with the ripped jeans she is wearing. Look out to see ripped jeans make a big come back in spring/summer 2009. Anyways, her sister Angela also looks nice. The purple strapless jersey dress is casually chic, and perfect for the summer.
Angela Simmons and her boyfriend Terry Kennedy, looked very cute together at the Maxim Extreme Sports party. Angela looks chic in her all black ensemble. Her asymmetrical ruffle top is very cute, and that cut flatters her well. Honestly this is one of the best outfits I have seen her in lately.
It was announced earlier this week that Pastry will launch a new collection, called Thin Mint. Part of the proceeds from sales will go to the Girl Scouts of the USA. The collection will be comprised of footwear and a backpack, and is expected to hit retail stores in late July 2008. On season 4, episode 9 of Run’s House, Angela and Vanessa Simmons come up with an idea to support the Girls Scouts of America. The Thin Mint collection is their idea. The Simmons’ sisters launched Pastry Footwear in March 2007 with the “Cake” collection, and followed up with the “Fab Cookie” collection in August 2007. Both were a huge success, and there is no doubt that the Thin Mint collection will be any different. Pastry Thin Mint footwear is set to launch with two colorways, chocolate and white, in both women’s and kids’ sizes. The women’s Thin Mint shoe will retail for $70.00, and the kids’ version will retail for $45.00. The Thin Mint collection can
be found at specialty retailers in the US, including Finish Line, Underground Station and Lady Foot Locker.
Angela Simmons was spotted out and about over the weekend in L.A. Angela was looking very cute and casual in this look. Her style was a mixture of a little punk with a sprinkle of chic.
