It looks like TRL has a new hot host, Julissa Bermudez. Julissa looks great in this ensemble. I love her contrasting, edgy outfit. The delicate off white blouse paired with a skin tight black leather skirt is fierce. Congrats Julissa on the new gig, and keep up the stylish looks.
Beyonce was spotted out in New York City the other night with her husband, Jay-Z. Her outfit is very cute, and the color green looks good on her. This green jacket looks very similar, if not almost exact, to one she wore a few months ago. It definitely looks like a classic Chanel tweed jacket. Beyonce is also sporting one of fall’s hottest trends, chain layered necklaces. Once again she completed her look with her trusty python bag, that apparently she can’t get enough of lately.
Solange Knowles is definitely trying to create her own sound, and her own style. Her style is normally hit or miss, and this outfit is no different. Here is Solange arriving at the David Letterman show. What do you think of these tights? I know textured, and patterned tights are going to be a huge trend this fall and winter, but I am not feeling these in particular. I appreciate that Solange is taking more fashion risks, but these tights are a mistake.
The other night Giant Magazine threw a party to celebrate the new Phat Fashion collection, at the MAGIC convention in Las Vegas. Among the celebrity guest were sisters, Angela and Vanessa Simmons. Both girls look great in their dresses, but who do you think has the better style? In my opinion I like Vanessa’s style the best at this event. The black tiered dress she wore is sexy, classy, and looks fabulous on her.
The Democratic National Convention began Monday, and already it is going down in history as one of the best conventions. The main headliner Monday night, was the fabulous Michelle Obama. She gave a powerful speech. As much as I am concentrating on this campaign and upcoming election, I also have to concentrate on the fashion. Michelle as usual looked lovely, and so Jackie-O. Her daughters, Sasha and Malia were styled so cute, and I loved the color all three wore. They no doubt will be the best dressed presidential family, to ever step foot in the White House.
Kerry Washington is looking fierce in these shots, featured in the latest issue of Giant Magazine. I love that Kerry is a natural beauty, and her style is so effortless. You never hear any bad press about her. She looks hot in these pictures, without trying to hard.
Here are some shots of Rihanna on the set of Chris Brown’s latest video. I like the dress she is wearing. It looks cute, but I am not feeling the shoes she wore. Overall this a different look for Rihanna. I guess it still does have her punk/rock vibe in it.
Yesterday Kim K. was making some promotional rounds in NYC. I love the dress she is wearing. It is classy and chic. Kim brought an extra pair of shoes to wear, because she hurt her foot earlier that day. I like the fact that Kim, although hurt, is wearing some cute flat sandals. See ladies you can still be stylish even when injured.
Over the weekend Christina Milian hosted the Red, White, and Blue Summer Oasis in L.A. Her outfit is cute, and fits her nicely. The snake detailing is very unique on the dress. I do think she is matching a bit too much. I love her clutch, however I don’t think she should’ve worn it with her ensemble.
I really did not know that celebrities hosted purse parties, but apparently Ashanti does. Here she is hosting the KVEG 97.5 purse party, in Las Vegas. Her dress is cute, and this actually is one of the cutest dresses I have seen her in.
